Automated system
« on: December 18, 2012, 02:27:33 PM »

I've been thinking, what if this game could have an automated feature to it. I'm also playing a yugioh game pretty much similar to this one, though more advanced called ygopro: http://www.ygopro.co/Features.aspx
Could you guys use the same system for this game though with changes to fit the vaguard fight rules?
I am hoping to see this game evolve as much as ygopro is, cuz this might be the only chance we get to see an online vanguard fight game.
There was another attempt to create a similar vanguard game but it was dropped. Since you came back I really wish to see it evolving, and maybe if you use the same system as in ygopro it might help speeding up things.

Think it could work?
It would be great if it'll work like that one

Well, no need to release everything in one update.
You could release multiple version, each better than the last

I've been wondering if it was possible to add a new element to the system where the players start with a starter or trial deck and through playing could earn in game cash to buy new cards and packs and let players build decks like that.  That way players can't just start with super-ultra-mega decks lol  just a thought.

Just get 3ds and hope that Vanguard game gets localized xD

This system should be used to test decks before real life tournaments.

If anyone would attempt to write an automated system, one should start by reading the Comprehensive rules in Bushiroad's site. http://cf-vanguard.com/en/howto/

At the very least, I would like to start off with an unmulliganed starting hand and my Starting Vanguard ready to go.

Sorry if I'm necro-ing, but I've got experience with c# and Python. If you'd like any help, I'd gladly help on small things since I have school work and probably won't be able to do too much. I also have read many of the Comprehensive Rules (especially on attacking).
